Senior Metocean / Coastal Engineer

We currently have a new vacancy for an Senior experienced coastal engineer to join our team in consultancy projects focusing mostly on numerical modelling and statistical analysis of waves, current and seabed mobility processes.

You will be working on projects in the coastal zone, ports and offshore, including offshore renewables, oil and gas development and port designs. To fit into the team, you will need to be able to work independently and take initiative but know when to ask for support. You will be required to train and lead junior engineers on the matter of coastal processes and sediment transport, and support senior experts for our most challenging projects. The drive to satisfy clients, develop our services and maintain schedule and budget will be central.

Jr. Metocean / Coastal Engineer

Interview process initiated

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced coastal engineer, ocean engineer or oceanographer, to join our team in consultancy projects focusing mostly on numerical modelling and statistical analysis of waves, current and atmospheric processes.

You will be working with a team of experts in oceanography, coastal processes, ship hydrodynamics, probabilistic design, and mooring systems. You should be able to produce results by a range of methods from back-of-the-envelope estimations to state-of-the art numerical modelling, where understanding how the model works and sensitivities to the model schematisation will be central. You will be required to advise clients on site selection projects, design criteria, workability and port or terminal layouts.
